A Constitutional Principle
every American should understand is challenged by the General Accounting
Office. That this is a Democrats versus Republican is obvious and derives
from the fear of the Democrats for the popularity of President Bush and
his team in all polls with the upcoming elections for critical seats in
Congress.
The alleged connection of the former Oil
execs Bush and Cheney to the Houston Texas based company Enron, gives the
Democrats an opening to cater to the conspiracy theory crowd, that some
hanky-panky has gone on.
The position of the President however
on principle may be strong, may count on the loss of with less acuity
blessed voters.
"You cant always get what you want"; this
also applies to the GAO; the Democrats could gain a little. How much is
not clear. It depends on the outcome in the courts. |
